My Simple but Stunning MakeUp Routine

I want to start by saying, I don’t wear makeup every day! But when I want to put makeup for more of a simple look, this is my everyday makeup routine. A mommy friendly makeup routine most the time, I have Layla in my hand or lap while doing it.

  1. Start out with a moisturizer: Apply to your entire face

Clean & Clear Watermelon Gel Moisturizer - 1.7 fl oz

  2. I use a really light serum: Apply to your entire face

    Vitamin C Serum

  3. SPF is important. I use this even when I don’t wear makeup: Apply to your entire face

    Facial SPF 30+ Sunscreen

  4. Now it is time to prime the face. I know a-lot do not believe in priming, I do. I have pores, and they need to be filled.

    Poreless Face Primer - Small

  5. Foundation is essential; you want your skin to look as natural as possible: Here is a list of foundation I love:

Born This Way Undetectable Medium-to-Full Coverage Foundation

    Elf Flawless Finish Foundation

Beautyblender BOUNCE™ + BLEND Foundation & Makeup Sponge Customizable Set

  6. I want you to know there is a difference between concealer and brightening. Concealer is for covering up pigmentation, such as under dark under-eyes. Brighten it, so give you under eye a brighter look. With that being said, you don’t need a bright concealer. Your concealer for an everyday glam needs to be two shades lighter than your skin complexion. I let the concealer sit and get tackie; this helps the concealer not settle into the fine lines. Here are some of my favorites:

Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer

    Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer

  7. While the concealer is sitting, I do my brows, I use one product:

    Ka-BROW! Cream-Gel Eyebrow Color

  8. To set everything into place my setting powder of choice:

Pro Filt’r Mini Instant Retouch Setting Powder

  9. Now it’s time to bring dimension back to your face. I don’t do a harsh contour; I go into my bronzer and warming my face up.

    Afternoon delight pressed powder bronzer

  10. I take that same bronzer, and I use a fluffy shadow brush, and I put that in the cease of my eye to give my eyes some dimension. BOOM eyes are done!

  11. Now it’s time to set the face.

    Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray

  12. I like to use a highlighter but for it to look real suttle. The key to not having your highlighter look like its just sitting on top of your skin is to apply right after you set your face. It will melt into the liquid of the spray, and it will settle in. Also, please apply with a brush, and then lighting push it into the skin with your beauty sponge. All these steps are going to make it look like you have a natural glow.

    Padded down pressed powder highlighter

  13. Blush time, I like to apply this when my bronzer and highlighter has been applied. When applying blush last, it helps blend everything perfectly.

    Powder Blush

  14. Okay let’s go back to the eyes and add mascara. Once you finish your eyes add a gloss to your lips and your done.!!

I know it looks intense with that huge list, but I promise you once you get the hang of it, it will take you no time at all. I completed all of these steps in 10 mins.
