A Little More About Me
Wow, I can't believe I have gotten to this place where you are reading this!!! I did it. I launched my first BLOG; it has been a long time coming. I wanted my first post to just introducing myself to you. Hi, my name is Mariah. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Ak (crazy, right!). I come from a big family, four sisters and one brother. I'm married and have two beautiful girls. I work full time; I'm very blessed to have the opportunity to bring my children with me the office or work remotely. Having my children with me at work brings its struggles. I have bought many different things to help make my life so much easier, some have been a flop, but most of them are a win. I will share them with your guys in the upcoming blog post. Like the rest of us, I'm just trying to navigate this thing called life. I'm far from perfect a parent; I want to take you along for all the lows and highs about my life. I love to share, and I'm hoping you will let me share it with you.
So I know you want to know, what are you going to be blogging about? EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN!! I’m so serious; I created this platform to put all my passions into one space. I will be talking about motherhood, business, beauty, fashion, hair, technology and content creation, etc. I want to teach content creators/businesses on how to brand their business and maximize all the great opportunities that the social media world offers. Social media has been my passion for years, I have studied and applied, and I know what works and what doesn’t. Be on the lookout of for my up and coming course!
My social media journey has been a rollercoaster. I started out creating ONLY beauty content on Instagram and Youtube. I enjoyed it, but I don’t think one understands how hard it is to create video/phone content. When having children, it is hard to have all the time in the world. The process of just setting up all the equipment to just film a video was a-lot, then sitting for hours filming a look, making sure you are in the frame, and video didn’t stop filming. I found myself becoming less and less consistent with my content. Not being consistent with content with social media means you don’t grow. Overall, it made me depressed, creating digital content when it was something that I genuinely enjoy.
After a long break, I wanted to get back to creating content; I thought long and hard how I would do this. With that being said, this is when riahsspace was born. I started an Instagram, and it took off. Now we are here! This platform allows you to interact, learn, be creative, and ultimately grow a sisterhood, brotherhood, etc.
Buckle your seats because this is going to be a crazy ride.
