My Love for Technology

I have had a love for technology from a young age. I loved to document everything from pictures to videos. It was my way of expressing myself because one I was the middle child, and two, I was timid. I can remember the day I got my first camera ( see below). Wow I was so proud to be an owner of a camera, and let me tell you, it hasn’t failed me. We all have to start somewhere; not everyone started with a fancy camera. Everyone has a story. Just remember that.

Cameras I owned:

  • Samsung L200

  • Sony Cyber-Shot

  • Canon T3i ( Sold it to my cousin who is starting a business)

  • Sony A5000

  • Canon T7i

  • Next Cameras: Canon 80D & Sony A6000 Or Canon EOS

I had taken so many pictures when I was young that my parents had to store them on a hard drive, which I'm going to go through this weekend. I had videos on there when my grandma was cooking her famous Mac N cheese. It's the memories fa me! It's the vision fa me! It's what story I can tell through pictures fa me!

I have always had a vision for photography, videography, and digital design and how I want it to look. I ask myself what message are you trying to give? What is the overall vibe for the content? Once I have those questions are answered I start creating. It can be your doing too much to some, but for me, it's enjoyable; it's a passion.

My first computer was an HP and I was editing my videos on Windows Movie Maker. Some of you will know what I'm talking about, yikes. I didn't know anything about photo editing, how to brighten the pictures. For the longest, I wanted a Macbook and would always borrow my brother in-law computer to edit on iMovie, and the photo application had way more settings to edit pictures. It wasn't until years later I could purchase myself an iMac during a sale best buy was having.

Wow, my lighting has come along the way also. When I started my YouTube journey, I had one light, and it was just a lamp, and I took the lamp shade off. Maybe one day, I will share with your my first youtube video.!! YIKKES. But it's a good reminder that you have to start somewhere.

Fast forward to today, I have ring lights, umbrella lights, traveling lighting, tripods, lens, gadgets, camera bags, batteries, apple pen, MacBook, iMac, and DSLR, etc. I'm grateful for the ability to have such a variety of tech supplies to make great content. But I also what to stress you don't need all of this stuff to create quality content. Use what you have and advance from there.

I guess if you got to the end, you know my love for technology runs deep. I will keep sharing and applying all the tips and tricks l have learned with you all and in my content.
